We encourage independence in all aspects of children’s learning and development, and track this through a set of key milestones and observations
Nurture Nest's Outdoor Learning Environment
Our nursery is blessed with a spacious and inspiring outdoor garden that gives every child the freedom to play, explore, and learn without feeling crowded. With plenty of room to move, children can flow naturally between activities and find their own special space throughout the day.
We are passionate about outdoor learning and provide daily opportunities for children to enjoy fresh air while developing essential skills. Our dedicated learning dome offers a calm area for reading and group activities, allowing children to learn comfortably in a natural setting.
The garden also features climbing frames that support physical development, helping children build strength, balance, and confidence through active play. Our large sandpit and water play area encourage creativity and sensory exploration, while quad bikes offer exciting opportunities for fun and coordination.
For energetic play, children can enjoy our football area, where they can run, kick, and develop teamwork skills. We believe in promoting both outdoor and indoor learning, ensuring a balanced and enriching experience for every child.
Children have daily access to our outdoor facilities, allowing them to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment.
